Workshop : How to Publish a Children\u2019s Book and a Non-Fiction Book<\/strong><\/h3>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]Whether writing for children and young adults or developing nonfiction for the commercial market, success depends on more than creativity and writing style\u2014it requires a strong understanding of the business of publishing. For children\u2019s books, this includes identifying the appropriate category\u2014such as chapter books, middle grade, or young adult\u2014defining the target readership, and understanding key themes. It also involves researching suitable literary agents and publishers, and learning how to effectively approach them. Similar principles apply to the ever-evolving nonfiction market.[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n
This session will be led by author of How to Publish Your Children\u2019s Book<\/strong>, 2nd Edition and nearly 40 children\u2019s books. She has guided aspiring writers and publishers in navigating the complexities of their respective book industries and achieving publication success. This presentation is offered in collaboration with Bangla School of Virginia.
